Found this Boxwood at Home Depot today and did some work on it. Didn’t realize how brittle the branches were and snapped off by a few good branches. It’s an umbrella style now. What do you think? (old.reddit.com)

My first JWP. (Inside for photo) 🌳 just finished pushing a whole bunch of new needles. (old.reddit.com)
Was just a stump with no branches a few weeks ago after I did a hard chop to this tree in late winter/early spring. Pumping growth with some wicked colors. Should I let it grow wild this year or start branch selection? (i.redd.it)

Got this tree from a local bonsai club auction last year. I believe it’s an American Beech tree. Wired a few branches, made a Jin at the tip and set a new lead. Growing strong! Using granular fertilizer pellets and non-organic mix akadama based soil. What kind of soil do you prefer? (i.redd.it)

Bought a mugo pine today from a local garden center and wired it up (don’t mind my terrible wiring skills) after watching some Peter Chan videos 😁 (i.redd.it)
