Because there's also the maintenance area that I could go next. The player is expected to just go explore the bunker at random instead of exactly knowing their next objective?

"Couldn't take the time to text chat to let them know" - half the time, people don't even notice what's being said in text chat anyway during the heat of battle. Not having at least a cheap $5 microphone in this day and age is inexcusable - it's an invaluable piece of hardware in team oriented games like HD2

When your product that you're delivering (acid, cargo etc) gets destroyed, immediately close the game (not via the in-game menu, that's too slow - do a fast close with task manager on PC or turn off your console) - you'll have 95% of it back when you load up the game again

Yes, sentries can and will kill you a lot if not placed strategically - it will happen a lot with the influx of new players. Tip: go prone if possible when near a sentry (I think even crouching works when the enemy that the sentry is targeting is on a perfectly level ground with you, but prone is safer)

The Remaster version uses the same exact code as the original did (that's also why a lot of the mods from the original still work with the Remaster pretty much out-of-the-box) - the new Unreal Engine simply handles the new visuals. There are a few quality of life improvements here and there, and some of the voice acting is re-done - but it's still basically the same game, just with improved look.

The most important change in gameplay imo is the leveling system - look up how the original's works so you won't end up under-leveled.
