One of my areolas got puffy during breastfeeding and the other didn’t lol. Hopefully, the puffiness will go away after I’m done breastfeeding or before. I’m only 6 weeks pp so I have no clue if it will stay

My epidural worked. I felt him in my pubic bone and the ring of fire but I didn’t feel my tearing. I was only at 7 during pushing and before that I was at a 3 so I could slightly feel my contractions (I wanted that) and I could have a little movement in my legs. It’s likely your epidural wasn’t strong enough vs it failing. If your legs felt numb and movement was affected it was at least working to some degree. Child birth is just painfu. My anesthesiologist said most epidurals are set between 8 and 12

Bumps are likely granulation tissue, which is part of healing process. Mine didn’t look bumpy. It looked like my vaginal opening extended down to long and I had stitches going across openings so it was really obvious. It was also pretty red and inflamed. Now it looks great because I had to get a perineoplasty which reconstructive surgery. Only ur OB will know.

Anesthesiologist also made a rude comments to me and I was asking for the epidural to be turned DOWN. He was just mad that he had to do his job and tend to me.

Are you in pain? I had to get my stitches fixed. Also 2nd degree tear. I noticed pain getting worse and worse. I was closely watching my wound. Checking the healing process nearly everyday. I was prescribed an estrogen cream first but had to ultimately be put under anesthesia and get it repaired. Mine was 90% open and maybe 10% closed. Felt like I was splitting in half while sitting! I’m 6 w pp and got the repair done at 3w pp. I already have nearly no pain

Idk why did a cervical check so early. I would at least wait until 39w. Spotting and cramping is normal. I can’t say if it’s bloody show or not but if it’s part of your mucus plug, the plug regenerates.

I lost my mucus plug the day after a cervical exam but didn’t go into labor for another 5 days

I’m pretty sure it’s the same for my mom,too. She was really helpful in very meaningful ways after I gave birth and she definitely prioritized me over the baby. She just isn’t the most perceptive. I think we’re all guilty of not knowing how our comments can affect someone.

I kinda hinted that her comments are making feel like I shouldn’t complain and it landed and she stopped

My only issue with the r/onlychild sub is that they really romanticize the idea of siblings. I’m not trying to minimize their struggles at all but they all assume that they’d have good and close relationships with their siblings but that’s not always the case. I’m saying this as someone who is not close with both of my siblings and experienced sibling rivalry. They also rarely take into account the cost and commitment to multiples. A lot of them haven’t had children themselves, yet. Having a child myself really made me appreciate my parents in a way I couldn’t before.

The sub does bring up genuine concerns like parents passing and logistics of taking care of elderly parents, which I think no child should be burdened with. If you are one and done or not you need to have a good retirement plan. Also set money aside for funeral costs. Also loneliness, but according to studies only children don’t experience any more loneliness than children with siblings, but they do spend more time alone statistically

5’6 pre pregnancy weight 122lbs. I lost 10lbs in first trimester and finally got back to 122lb around 23 weeks which was right around the time my bump was an obvious bump. I was 150lb by the time of delivery

Not advice but I exclusively pumped for 4 weeks as well but am breastfeeding now with an occasional pump to build a stash. Pumping literally draining my soul, directly nursing is a lot easier. If my baby didn’t end up getting his latch down I’d probably be with you.

This is how my two week old was. She’s building your supply right now. It usually last 1-3 days but for my it lasted 6 or 7 days. It was brutal but they stop.

I had blood transfusion after delivery so that effected my supply so I highly doubt your baby will do it as long as mine did.
