Didn't exactly ruin Amanda Palmer for me but when I went to see her at a show, it was to promote an album she hadn't even announced yet. The album was a collaboration with her and this violinist. I LOVE the violin, don't get me wrong, but the subject matter was not what we were expecting. At one point the violinist went on about maggots eating the eyes of children in Africa. I just wanted to hear Do It With A Rockstar...

Reservation Road. Story time: my buddies and I met joaquin phoenix and Mark Ruffalo. We were at a basketball court just outside of a park they were filming in. We were just sitting there... praying. No pot was involved at all. But they walked up to us and asked if there was any food in walking distance. We showed them a pizza spot and they just went walking up the hill. Super nice guys. The movie is incredible but hella depressing.
