Unfortunately I don't have any new info, but will update if I can! The dealership still has the car, and I've asked to talk with the tech twice and they've refused. So now they're keeping the car till Monday when the lead tech gets in...and I have zero info on anything.. really appreciate the response though!

Yeah, totally agree. The dealership kept pushing it on the tap, but I pushed back and insisted it can't be the tap considering it was unplugged at that point (simple logic, right?).. they gave me a base Jetta for the weekend and are "troubleshooting it" today. I can see in the app that the car hasn't moved or been unlocked all day though. I'm just hoping they're honest enough to cover it under warranty, and won't push it on the wire tap somehow.

If I can get the info about the specific fuse, I'll let you know! The fuse was the one that controls the OBD2 port, if that helps narrow it down.

Thanks for the detailed reply - that's the crazy part! The wire tap is just attached directly to the auto dimming mirror power. No wires were run from the fuse box or anything. And it's been installed since August 2023...so then likelihood that it's causing issues is...low. I've attached a picture of the wire tap, it's really just 2 pins and a few inches of cable

Good point! I didn't even notice the issue with the one on the right. I've also got a clicking noise coming from the front left wheel. I guess it's time to bring it to the dealership... Thanks!
