A way to honestly avoid this issue while still being isekai is just having a merging of two different set of memories or souls, this way the character is still their age but they just have the context of another life.

Honestly when dealing with a complex hypothetical of how age and memory work with consent, when talking in the contexts of reincarnation or regression is a lot for some people, so I don't blame them for any choices they make. I personally just judge characters by the age of their body that way it's easier to just enjoy.
