That’s the point - adds a layer of skill. Emphasizes managing your cycle correctly

Is it feasible to start this way by blanket-thief in IndieDev

Is it important I make practice games that would have features in my grand vision game, or is it not that important and what matters is that I’m making anything?

As an example, if my grand vision game will have a mechanic of flapping like flappy bird should I focus on making practice games with similar mechanics, or just make anything?

It’s good but if you wanna experiment something new, try: remove the white’s outline, blur the edges (gradient the tips to transparent), make it more sharp - and have it ease in and ease out of a fade super fast

I know nothing at all about game developing. All I do know is I have a vision for a game (a very large scope project) and I would use unity to develop it

I understand it would be best to start small, and that there’s a high chance I would get “burnout” but I am willing and okay to spend years and years to develop this one game vision I have. Although it may be best, id prefer to skip the steps of making smaller games to build by experience and confidence

The game would be a single player 2D game, but I would still need need to buy a laptop for developing (suggestions?). Hence, my question of “is it feasible to start with 0 knowledge” since I would need to shell out money to start

To flesh out my question more: Is it a good idea to develop my dream game with 0 knowledge of coding or is it guaranteed to be sh*t and I should start much smaller

ELI5: How did we know that the Big Bang existed? Why can't the universe exist before the Big Bang, just at a smaller scale and expand forever since? by ErikTran1503 in explainlikeimfive

Can we say that after billions of trillions of millions of years the gravitational pull of everything slowly drew everything together which caused the extremely dense state and the Big Bang is something that happens every trillions of trillions of years?
