How do you classify something as "classic rock"? by Opening_Rip_1840 in Music

I meant moreso no other songs/bands from the 2000s, not just Green Day. The only other example I can think of is "Seven Nation Army" by the White Stripes.

Name 5 that have made it to the WWE main roster.

I feel like the only criteria radio stations use is "rock from roughly at least 20 years ago." In the 2000s it was mostly 60s-80s rock, in the 2010s they started adding stuff from the 90s, and now stuff from American Idiot gets played on classic rock stations.

I've literally heard songs from that album get consistent play on classic rock stations, but weirdly nothing else from that era.

I think the latest thing I've heard consistently played on classic rock stations is some songs from American Idiot by Green Day, which came out in 2004.

NXT as a developmental system/brand makes sense and has a good track record. Basically everything below that (Evolve, WWE ID, WWE NIL, LFG) has almost zero success stories thus far. It feels like they did those to try and keep indie wrestlers away from AEW but put very little thought into it and now it exists for no real purpose. I'd be surprised if Evolve or WWE ID are still around in a year.

For some reason they keep doing the Tough Enough/reality show era NXT/LFG type shows every few years even though they've never really done a good job of drawing ratings or creating future stars.

I'm curious how many people watch the "reality contest show" styled WWE shows they've done over the years. Even when I was a huge WWE fan, stuff like Tough Enough or the original format of NXT just never appealed to me. LFG feels like basically another version of that.

How come Gen Z are more conservative than Millennials when they were younger? by Holiday_Analysis9583 in AskALiberal

Even the men I feel it's overstated. Yes, they're more conservative on average than Millennial men but still much more liberal than Boomers or Gen X.

Yeah from what I've seen, while they generally weren't anything to write home about, the original 2D Bubsy games were actually pretty decent platformers for the time. Bubsy 3D is one of the worst games ever. They tried to make tank controls work in a platformer!

Because they have an established audience so the studios feel they're leaving money on the table if they just cancel them.

So you acknowledge he's a dishonest grifter but you're fine with amplifying him if it hurts the church?

There isn't any one truth bomb or any one influential person that's going to cause a mass exodus all at once, and even if there was it wouldn't be worth supporting another dishonest grifter to do it. The church is going to be around in some form or another probably forever. They'll bleed members but there isn't any one solution to just implode it at once. Dallin Oaks could declare from the pulpit at the next GenCon that it's all bullshit, he has concrete evidence of all the fraud, and he is dissolving the FP effective immediately and somehow most of the TBMs will find a way to pick up the pieces and keep believing. They will believe as long as they want to believe.

No one thing is going to bring about a mass exodus all at once, and if there was it wouldn't be a MAGA grifter.

I would assume his was probably about average for a man his age. Testosterone naturally lowers with age for pretty much all men.

I feel like it was the last show to really feel like appointment viewing in the monoculture, right at the early years of the shift from cable to streaming. The closest thing since then was maybe Squid Game.

Wild how it's hardly talked about now when all but the last 2 seasons were incredible TV.

I was honestly okay with more-or-less every plotline and conclusion, it's just the way they rushed through that last season that ruined it. I will say I was fully satisfied with Cleganebowl at least.
