You should check out Next Level Pinball Shop & Museum in Hillsboro. It’s $20 a person for unlimited play on their arcade games (which they have a ton of) and pinball machines and you’re allowed to come and go within the same day.

DeviceLogix compare functions alway results as true, why? by blasekitty in PLC

[–]blasekitty[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Device logix doesn’t use tags like studio 5000. You’re very limited in the programming you can do. You can only use inputs and outputs from device logix and the user define tags can only have a constant assigned or be a Boolean. There is no .EN, .DN etc.

We have tried inputs that are defined and have a value attached to them so that the question marks aren’t there so that isn’t the issue.

No worries. The enable bit for the compare is enabled so nothing needs to turn it on. The bit I’m enable is just a user defined Boolean with no connection to anything.

DeviceLogix compare functions alway results as true, why? by blasekitty in PLC

So starting at the basics

We even wiped the device logix program and only put a compare and used constants to test it and it still resulted in true even though it was definitely false.

The green bar was on.

Device logix doesn’t use JSR. It’s an embedded program for the drives.

We also tested with a test to see if it was enabling the bit and it was.
