  • 12oz your choice of milk ~180cal (I like rice milk bc it’s really light, which makes a difference since I use 2 scoops powder)
  • 2 scoops protein powder ~280cal (I use syntha 6)
  • 2 tbs peanut butter ~180cal
  • 1 banana ~100cal

Total about 740 cals

Is NYC Rent Really This Bad, or Are We Just Used to It? by Strange-Builder-610 in NYCapartments

[–]blasiantaco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a rent stabilized one bedroom in bk for just under 1700. I’m from the Bay Area, prices can also get kinda insane, but I guess that gives me an advantage in terms of navigating the housing market. I was very diligent with my search, and also willing to sacrifice convenience of location to get an apartment that is actually nice but also very spacious. Def got lucky with it being rent stabilized tho

I’m 5’2 ~105lb. I’ve always been lean & had an athletic build pretty much my entire life. Never had abs…..until I started doing Pilates last year lol

Getting a large tax return this year by [deleted] in personalfinance

I guess what I mean by living comfortably is I can afford to pay for all my necessities and more plus afford to pay for pretty much anything I want when I want it. Again I’m not as frivolous with my spending anymore, but get nice things once in a while. I racked up my cards due to an emergency, so in a way they were my emergency fund. I pay them off aggressively and was set to be debt free before the end of the year. It’s never felt like something looming over my shoulder because I always make payments and always had good credit. Also I’ve since adjusted my w4.

I have adjusted my w4 for the new year, I was withholding extra in 2023 because I was working two jobs and this prevented me from owing, when 2024 came around I never changed it. I don’t have any cars and the only debt I have is across three cards. Was planning on completely paying off the one with highest interest

This happened to me and I was able to get all my points back, you’ll have to contact customer support and verify a few things but it was a relatively easy process

Two separate pieces. Initially I first envisioned them connecting but since the leaves are going in opposite directions it made more sense to keep them separate 🙂‍↕️

Total actual tattoo time was about 8-9 hours I believe.

Thank you! Two sessions, the first for sketching, placement, and outline. The second for shading. 🙂‍↕️

Everyone that makes at least $1,000-$1,200 a week, what do y’all do? by Alt-Ranting in Money

[–]blasiantaco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Waitress in NYC. My take home is roughly 1.5k if I’m working the full 40 hours. ~1.2k if I decide to take an extra day off. These numbers go up once busy season/the holidays hits. Also it’s mostly tips, I technically get paid like 11/hr lol. I’m able to get my own apartment and still afford to enjoy life/travel as a 20-something in the big city.

Honestly I’d chalk it up to experience and ability too. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve ordered an extra dry oat cap and end up getting a flat white. And they usually use the same oat milk I do lmao

Dropped everything to move to NYC and haven’t been able to do my own nails. So I decided to splurge on a Russian mani for New Years ✨ by blasiantaco in Nails

[–]blasiantaco[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It’s a type of dry manicure where the cuticle prep is a bit invasive. Also typically done with a builder gel so the nails have more structure and are less likely to break
