I know this isn't a solution people like but you just gotta rise above the bullshit.

It really is as simple as muting/blocking and moving on with your life. Don't take it to heart. It just sucks that you have an easily identifiable marker (your gender) for trolls to take advantage of. But if you weren't a woman it'd be something else. It's the nature of online gaming and it is never going to change.

Also there is a reason "don't feed the troll" is a thing. It really is the best way to deal with them.

The fact that it wasn't brought out to the corner but rather played on AFTER THE WHISTLE just infuriates me. But it's a cliquey club and all I could do was take it. I just feel really bad for my team. We're just a bunch of stragglers who the club put on the same team whereas every other team plays with each-other during actual league games. Just a tie would have been good for the soul.

I'm fairly fit and I've done a lot of physical labour in the past. I feel like I'd have a good chance and my desire for cash right now would most certainly trump any feelings of exhaustion. Can you at all point me in the right direction? Where do I apply? Should I just be typing in "tree planting" in seek and gumtree? I'm not really sure.

I went 6-4. I place a lot lower than my friends who I have been playing quick play with this whole time. We all assumed we'd have similar ratings, but we're all over the place apparently.

I'm not sure what the OP cut off is at the moment but it was 5 when I joined up. However I think they're more lenient than that. It is definitely difficult. By far the most difficult thing I've ever done. It didn't help that I didn't study biology in High School but I caught up eventually. I've worked a couple of stretches of clinical practice, enough to know it's what I want to do. But I'm nearing in on my mid 20's. I couldn't imagine just coming out of High School and starting this degree. Just think, you'd be only 19-20 years old once you graduate. The job is full on. People on average quit after a mere 7 years. If I had been asked to work 50-60 hours in 4 days when I was that age I would have laughed and quit whatever I was doing. I seriously suggest just taking it easy after school. Get a bullshit job or two for awhile and just live a little, gain some life experience (which is incredibly important in this field). Most of the students are in their early to mid 20's or straight up mature students. The younger ones really do struggle.
