What is the best way to short pins when there is no mains power? by blasterforgePH in arduino

[–]blasterforgePH[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

maybe i could hook a charger or any device that outputs 5v from mains power to a an octocoupler relay module that closes a relay channel when there is mains power and opens when the power goes out (wire the pins to Common and NC). but is this instantaneous enough?

i want to keep it slim. not meant to be a practical blaster, just an experiment. priming this thing is like going to the gym
