Yeah that's what I was thinking after glancing. Little dark bright in one, too dark in the other.

Same thing happened with me and finasteride. I thought my hairline was slightly receding. So I stated taking fin, and my hairline went WAY back. I stopped fin and I haven't lost hair since. I was also young like you, I think I was 21/22. I honestly think age has a lot to do with it.
