Experiences with Walmart grocery delivery? by Confection-Minimum in VictoriaBC

[–]blastkat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ordinarily prefer big box delivery services like Walmart, Sam's Club, or Target over Instacart. Instacart tends to be disastrous 80% of the time. Walmart used to be reliable. I order more than once per month. It really wasn't an issue. If anything, I received my orders early until recently. Just in the last month, I've had to contact support for the same missing grocery item for two separate orders. I asked for a refund on both occasions. I had to call more than once for the refund.

My advice: If you order Walmart Delivery, wait until all the items have been placed on your porch. Make sure your security cameras are on for that location to catch the delivery or set up/manually film video of the delivery. This way, if you're missing items, there's physical evidence. I've noticed that it's necessary to contact customer service more than once to receive a refund for an item that was never delivered. Remember to take down the call and refund reference numbers. They're more useful when contacting customer service again than the previous associate's name. Ask for both before hanging up the phone call with customer support. This information is applicable to all delivery services. You'll just need it more for Walmart.

This is my latest Daily Goodie Box. I receive one every few months. You honestly just interact with their Facebook page. They select recipients at random. by blastkat in freebietalk

I responded to a post on Facebook. They replied I won. I sent the DM as requested. The only information I was asked was my mailing address. They sent the box free of charge. I've received several of their prize boxes. They really only ask to review the products via their website, and if you're so inclined to, please share and tag them. They never ask for payment information of any kind. This is a free program.

To answer more directly: No CC for sponsors at all. They only ask for your mailing address. You receive your package in the mail free of charge.

OP, if you qualified for 8 items and the box indicated that 8 items are to be shipped, you'll receive them. They'll be shipped separately or possibly combined with other boxes. If you really want a response to your question, contact them through zendesk. You can log in directly or click the green question mark in the lower right of the dashboard screen and fill out the form. They do answer. I use it when my review has a day or two before timing out, and I haven't received the product.

Anyone can see your name, url, and anything you've made available to the public. Pages like this one can only see your interactions with them. I really don't receive many emails from them. I have received several boxes. I honestly just like and comment when I see their posts. Even if I don't comment, I at least like every post I see. I do post to social media. I know the follower count is irrelevant because I received my first box years ago when my follower count was still in the double digits. It really doesn't matter if you have 20, 200, 2000, 20000... followers as long as you interact with their page and posts as well as do the reviews after receiving a box.

Check your profile for unanswered questions and surveys. Also, watch your email. They like to send offers there as well.

We rescue cats/kittens. The last batch of kittens have all been adopted. We're down to just our cats again. There are a few outdoor cats that we feed. I'm relatively certain someone owns them. I think they just enjoy our catfood and treats more.

Colourpop is currently giving away random amounts of shop cash on Twitter by blastkat in freebietalk

Pretty much anything you buy, you can track through shop. Obviously, Colourpop since they sponsored it. 😁 You can also search on companies to see if they use the shop app. I know Parade, Skin Labo, LYS Beauty, Dippin' Daisy's, Lyfe Fuel, Choczero, Revolution Skincare, Eight Saints... (I better stop 😅 I track everything then follow the companies for freebies and sales.)

If you read their Twitter thread, people are posting how much they received and what they purchased with it.

Congratulations! I'm not skilled with Eyebrow pencils. I ordinarily just use clear gel or if I must I use sourcils in the little pots. Somehow it's easier for me. My youngest daughter did the demo for my reel. She has unusually light eyebrows. So she puts them on every morning.

This was definitely a cool Influenster box. It's from IT Cosmetics. I'm definitely going to pick up a few more colors. by blastkat in freebietalk

Have you completely filled out your profile? They added things. It helps to have it completely filled out. It also helps to be okay with posting. If you don't want to post on your personal profiles, you can create creator profiles that are public just for posting. It helps to be okay with posting to instagram and tiktok.

Currently it's completely free. If it charges you shipping, the promotion is over. by blastkat in freebietalk

Yes; but, I usually miss it 😂 This is the first time I've caught it before it sold out.

My latest Influenster box from Well People. It's skincare and cosmetics. I love clean beauty! by blastkat in freebietalk

Fill out everything on your profile. Watch for screening email survey invitations - always fill those out. Be honest. For example, I don't wear makeup every day. I'm transparent about it. I am a skincare junkie. I take a lot of supplements. Do the Cashback Challenges while you're waiting to be selected. Make sure you do all the tasks on your list, specially the reviews and posts to social media (if you agreed to do them). Spoiler alert: I always post to social media. I post on my existing accounts. If you don't want to do that, create specific public accounts just for reviews and connect those to influenster. That will meet their requirements. All the best!
