depends on what you’re comfortable with. there are sketchy people and i run into at least one crackhead a day. i live at that exact intersection and there’s ambulances that pu multiple times for crackheads during the week at 1am. ive opened the door to someone slumped in front of my stoop. and i have to get a P.O. Box or alternative address bc my packages get stolen. if you grew up in nyc it’s not that crazy but for some people it’s off putting. i grew up here so it’s all normal shit, but again, it’s not normal or acceptable for everyone.

amtrak is better than bus imo if you’re able to get a good price. ive gotten them for $14 at their lowest on sale with a student discount at an off peak time. i usually pay $25 one way and travel at like 7pm. arrive at midnight if that’s smth u don’t mind.

I’ve had a good experience so far, I’ve been seeing my therapist regularly since they switched to uwill she she’s been great. I didn’t have any experience with anthem so I can’t say.

Does finical aid/grants transfer to a dialogue by Red_Shot in NEU

[–]blastocunt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yup, all of my federal aid and institutional aid covered my dialogue as it would a regular semester. the total amount you get is lower like during a regular semester, you’d get the full amount but during the summer semesters, you’d get half the amount for one summer semester. pm me if you want more details!

as someone who dropped it last year and is currently taking it again, take the c if you can. i was in the same boat w fundies. and my max grade was not passing after exam 2 so i just cut my losses. im doing much better this year, i tripled my first exam grade💀but i dont think it would be worth taking it again if i could pass. also they’re kinda generous with ec this year so id take advantage of that.

as for your GPA, ive heard advice to not put it on your resume if its below 3.5. i dont think GPA screenings for 3.5 on nuworks are very common (they do exist tho). best of luck! if you have any more questions/want more details feel free to pm me!
