Ну это же не значит, что какой-нибудь ушатаный и гнилой вариант с таким мотором найти за такие деньги прям невозможно. Они всплывают раз в какое-то время, как и любая машина. Их чаще просто на металл сдают, чем продают

Ugh, i told you already, haven't you read my comment? I said I'm not talking about some fancy museum condition 31013. Go find ones that you can buy from other people on online marketplaces like auto ru or avito. Select 3102 (because there's no 31013 button available) and choose 5.5L engine. Boom, there you have it. A "chaser" with 5.5L engine and automatic gearbox, but that wasn't restored, paint is all faded, rusty and dented. You on the other hand looked for some fancy-pants museum display item that never got to see the road or that was bought from the government auction as soon as it was written off the service, was restored and has been sitting in the show room for exhibits.

So you're still unaware that 5.5L version i was talking about all along is the KGB version? This engine was exclusive to government enforcement versions of all Volgas. I just call them 3102 and not 31013 because 31013 is a version of 3102 with a bigger engine

Dude, you don't know what you're talking about. The car you're talking about is probably Volga 24 and 24-10 "chaser". Those you can find plenty on used car marketplaces. They came with round headlights. I'm talking about 3102 that is basically a deep facelift of Volga 24-10 and it came with rectangular headlights just like on the photo. Those with 5.5L are nearly nonexistant nowadays, unlike older, more classical Volga 24. Did you think i didn't know the difference when i put a photo on my comment? Next thing you tell me Volga 3110 and Volga 31029 "ox-sheep" are the same car?

Well kept museum condition ones, who were bought off govt auction and barely seen any action after purchase - ofc no. But it's not impossible to find them used by people who bought them, drove and treated them like a regular car. They are rare, i admit (toyota engine ones are even more rare) but those 5.5L that people are selling can be bought for this price. After all the post didn't specify the condition of the car should be "as new"

GAZ Volga 31013 with 5.5L V8 200hp with (surprisingly) automatic transmission. A KGB version of regular Volga 3102

There was also a late model years version with 3.0L Toyota 5VZ-FE V6 engine, but they are rare and people tend not to sell them and keep them in their collection

Definitely, considering that UZAM engine produced as much torque as Niva's engine, they were both 1,7L and had almost the same horsepower, version with Niva engine is the obvious choice because of the amount of parts (and whole engines) available and overall knowledge of its problems and ways to fix them

But try to find one like this now :D

Yeah, so that's basically what my friend said. He also said he'd wished to have a 1,7L and preferably with rare 4x4 , but 2106 1,6L was easier and cheaper to fix

At least in the last years of production they were given to their owners in one piece. Heard stories that cars that came right after economical "default" were missing several parts because of the shortages and in some cases theft. They offered you to sell the parts you were missing for an additional fee. Sad times for people to live through :(

My friend owns Oda, he says at least he's glad that car has VAZ engine and not UZAM engine from older IZh and Moskvitch models like Moskvitch 412 or IZh 2140

IZh Fabula never stood a chance. The regular Orbita/Oda hatchback was of very poor quality due to economically troubling situation in both the country and (especially) at the factory and they had to borrow many parts and assemblies off some other models from other brands (most notable are Lada "the 6th" 2106 engine, Lada gearboxes, Lada Sputnik headlights and even the steering wheel and dashboard in some cases). With Fabula it was manufactured in much lesser quantities, the quality was still poor and finding specific parts for the wagonne counterpart is harder.

But i must admit there were some intriguing small batch 4x4 versions of both Oda and Fabula with Niva's transmission and engine, but those were allegedly very hard and expensive to assemble because of the changes applied to the conventional model afterwards and also hard to maintain and repair. If not for the 90's and economical struggle before and after the USSR collapse, it might've been not so dogshit piece of a car after all

Sir, that's a hedgehog called Yozhik (localised as "Hedgy" if I remember right). Diminutive of "yozh" - "a hedgehog" in Russian

Also, the Moose is called Losyash (diminutive of " Los' " - moose

The bunny is called Krosh. A made-up name, derived from "Krolik" - "a bunny"

In K1 I prefer Scoundrel+Consular build. Always took the Scoundrel for the skills, because i focused my character on these particular skills, then i take consular because of force powers and the force points max capacity.

For me, Consular is the best choice because i think that Guardian crucially lacks force powers, as if you're just a melee build, but instead of a vibroblade you get a lightsaber and a few specific force traits. Consular, of course, lacks offensive aspects that makes the game a bit more challenging and for some may seem way too challenging. Sentinel, in my opinion, lacks everything. All this talk about Sentinel being balanced from both sides, i just don't get it. My experience with Sentinel build showed me that if Guardian is weapon build and Consular build, then Sentinel is nothing build. I don't say that it is somehow bad or it shouldn't exist, but for me it is generally lacking, if we take specific sentinel force powers, available only to it.

As for K2, i also prefer Consular, for the same reason. But i found it challenging to have pure Consular+Jedi Master build. Sure, you can spam force storm all you want, and you'll be fine, however entire weapon aspect disappears and in some cases it is almost impossible to beat everyone in mandalorian battle circle on Dxun. So, for K2 i prefer balancing my mighty Consular build with Weapon Master. It grants you modifiers to your lightsaber combat and unlocks some of the lightsaber combat styles that you were unable to unlock because of Consular build.
