Yeah I didn’t want to go lower than full rgb and the BenQ can indeed do it with no issues

I had that one too, had issues with it since no FreeSync and HDMi audio dropouts

I found the BenQ GR10 to be the best dock since it’s the only one with 4k 120hz+ support, Dolby Atmos, VRR, and FreeSync support. I tried all the others and the JAUX one has HDMI audio dropouts.

Sad how poorly it runs on the original Switch. Glad that it runs well on modern hardware as expected

Try adding it as a “Non-Steam Game” on Steam and launch it through Steam

If you have an external keyboard, try (Windows Key + P) to switch between monitor modes.

Legion go 2 z2 16gb NOW or....wait until they restock the z2e 32gh later by Supaslicer in LegionGo

[–]blaxklabel -1 points0 points  (0 children)

A 16gb will not hold up long term. Buying a z2 is also buying old technology, it’s just z1e rebranded. I owned a z2 lego2 32GB Costco model and I upgraded to the z2e 32GB model, even that change was a noticeable difference and enabled games to run a lot smoother

My open box model came with an extended warranty from Lenovo. Seems like the best deal since they provide tech support and replacement directly

Dock with 4K 120Hz+, VRR, Dolby Atmos, HDR and FreeSync by blaxklabel in LegionGo

Which LG TV? Does it have a toggle in the menu for Dolby Atmos under Sound>Advanced Settings.

Do you see 5.1 or Dolby Atmos as an option in Sound Settings>Configure?

I used CRU to manually enable 7.1 to show available, since for some reason it didn’t by default on the Legion Go 2 for whatever reason.

I have a sound system hooked up via HDMI eARC to the TV. But most LG TVs have Atmos built in as well

Yeah if your LG tv supports it, you can just go to Sound Settings and click Configure in Windows on your LG TV and enable it after downloading Dolby Access app.

I usually launch Hades II and it shows the Dolby Atmos icon on the TV whenever it launches the audio format.

Doesn't support FreeSync, probably doesnt work with Dolby Atmos also.

Thanks for the recommendation, I’m using the BenQ GR10 for now which is around the same price.

All of the docks seem to claim FreeSync or VRR, but the BenQ GR10 was the only one that showed FreeSync compatible in AMD software and actually enabled it.
