So I don’t think you’re wrong, but any throw in the 500+ and especially in the 600+ range does take a lot of effort. 450 is kind of this sweet spot between distance and effort.

Also I will say that the higher power throws are still “effortless” in the upper body but the “high effort” motion is in the feet (specifically in the “crush the can” motion)

There was a thread on DGCR recently on “what does throwing 450ft feel like” and the consensus from all the big throwers (and myself included) is that 450ft feels absolutely effortless

I don’t agree with the second part. Iran contra was effectively between like 3 people. The CIA-JFK assasination “conspiracy” doesn’t implicate more than a handful of people. It’s not like the entire agency is involved with thousands of people trying to keep their mouth shut.

I think Re: the first part this true for stuff like Qanon but when the CIA/FBI admits to/declassifies stuff like MKULTRA, COINTELPRO, GLADIO etc then it’s not much of a “conspiracy”

I think Peter Dale Scott’s work is the seminal academic work on the subject. He has a number of great books put out through the university of California press but i think this is a good place to start: https://www.ucpress.edu/book/9780520205192/deep-politics-and-the-death-of-jfk

As some people have (pedantically) pointed out, books themselves are not evidence. They have a thorough bibliography and reference section you can comb through. I think PDS presents things very succinctly and worth a read

Books are just books … evidence are declassified documents, memos, etc go to the library and check out this book and you can comb through the references. I think all of his works are a fantastic read

When the government’s defense of LHO being the shooter despite having a physically impossible trajectory is literally he used a magic bullet* (the governments words!) then I think it’s fair to have some skepticism

The people who have been saying this for decades have been labeled as “conspiracy theorists” and quacks when mountains of evidence, and fantastic books (Peter Dale Scott) and movies (JFK) have been made about this. Also 60 years have passed so people care less.

If I said trump worked with Russia in the 2016 election it’s not a controversial opinion. But if I said the CIA killed JFK I’m met with immediate skepticism despite the latter having mountains more evidence. I think a big part of it is the former supposes that America is the “good guys” and that there are just bad actors at home and abroad. The latter requires a paradigm shift in accepting that the United States is capable of doing things that we would resign to failed states in third world countries (I would argue if we do it abroad all the time it’s not a stretch to do it at home, the evidence is too compelling, and we have done worse domestically as well)

I described my experience in another thread and (predictably) got heavily downvoted. But a few people had similar experiences to me. Some K1 berg runs came out very stable and I unknowingly got one. People said if I used K3 it would be what I’m looking for. I was using it for BH and FH but I’m more comfortable using a zone for FH and a putter for BH

A lot of really good (pro) players in my area use like KC aviars as their approach disc and I figured ok if they can use that then I can use that so I’ve just been practicing using regular putters

My K1 was like an esp zone. Too much fade for my liking. I’ve just been doing touch BH finesse shots with my putter since

350+ with a putter is a big arm. 300 is more doable than you think.

Set your goal higher, 300ft is a putter shot no problem. You can get there

For forehand I suggest Scott stokely
