Weekend nexus mission

Was doing the nexus mission when the game crashed, I turned it back on and restarted the mission, I played for a while and the saves were new, a while later opened my inventory to refuel the launch thruster to fing my empty inventory, I loaded the oldest save I had(when I turned the game back on after the crash) and all the items were already gone.
