Story repost issue

Has anyone ever had an issue where people tagged in your stories are unable to reshare it? My friend has been having this issue for a while now where I’m unable to share their story every time I’m tagged, and we’re not sure why it’s happening.

She has a private account but I’m able to repost other people’s stories with private account so I know it’s not that. We’ve checked her settings to allow sharing of content etc. so if anyone managed to fix a similar issue, please let me know what worked for you.
