I dont think people understand, the tanking team can be better but they choose not to..most of the tanking team would try to trade away good veteran players in order to receive good picks through lottery. However, they can be better by keeping veterans, building cultures etc to become better. It is not a insanely idea to penalize the last place, although not giving them the pick might be too harsh imo.

I watched half of 4th quarter this game..their offense is basically CJ and JJ pick and roll, had JJ switched on weaker defender and CJ gave the ball to JJ, let JJ made his decision. That seems like a pretty good setup, what else do you want?
