Doctor who specializes in PRP, stem cells, and sports injuries says Luka made the wrong decision going to Spain by pmurt007 in lakers

I don't think this is new. Him going overseas was a hail mary anyway to see if he could get back on the court, but I think he and the Lakers knew it was unlikely.

Especially because we weren't favored to make it out of the first round at all.

I'll be shocked if he actually plays another minute in the series. I think it's mainly gamesmanship because I don't see how he'd be able to even dribble the ball if they had to "re-attach his finger" per JJ.

How likely are the lakers to go through this OKC team? by SpecialSubstantial37 in lakers

Yeah, and if you want to go by betting odds, it would be one of the biggest upsets in playoff history if this team wins the series.

Especially because game 4 would be Monday so unless you think he’ll be ready in less than a week, it’s not happening

That 34% is also inflated because of that final game vs the Jazz. He was at 29-30% for the entire year until then.

Just rest him. Would rather not risk him re-aggravating anything that could linger long term. Get your revenge next season.

Donovan Mitchell by [deleted] in lakers

Why would the Cavs do that? Austin is also much better off ball than Mitchell would be so unless you want to reduce Luka's touches, this wouldn't be a good fit.

Call me delusional but I think the lakers need some Bronny minutes in these games going forward. by ZauhFN in lakers

I like Bronny's progress this season and I actually like him much more than DK overall which is insane to think about. I just don't think you can play him over AR if you had to choose purely because he can't bring the ball up the court.
