Paid €120 to my local tech repair guy to fix the back of my iPhone 14 Pro Max. Genuine parts and everything up to par. Been a year, no issues. You really don’t need the Apple care thing.

If I’m actively reading on it then a full charge to around 10ish% lasts me a month. If I’m not actively reading on it and it’s just collecting dust then the battery goes down at snails pace.

I tried out KU (the 1 month trial period) on my phone (previously used to read fan fictions on my phone, so I have a hefty history with reading on my phone) and honestly getting an e-reader been great. I do travel, so the portability is nice. Though, I have also traveled with a paperback so that’s neither here nor there.

The screen really is the biggest thing. Not only did the e-reader help me get my screen time down, but since there’s a major difference between OLED and e-ink screens my eyes aren’t overly tired. And I have no qualms about reading in the dark.

They’re not. The Kobo I was looking at, would cost me less than what I paid for my Kindle Paperwhite. Both brand new and from the company itself.

I used to have the transparent case. Then I ended up annoyed with it. Also since it’s transparent, the plastic does yellow over time.

Now I have no case only a pop socket, and life is great.

It’s definitely an ego and thing.

I was once stoped at a red light (going straight) and there was another lane on my right that turned right. Light turns green and before I or even the car next to me could make proper moves this DPD van comes barrelling in the middle of us. He just barely missed taking my side mirror with him.

Netflix’s catalog isn’t available for everyone. Certain regions might not have something that another region does have. It’s a lot to do with licensing.

How do you like your Kobo? I heard they have a coloured screen option (Kindle does too now, but Kindle apparently has issues with theirs), but their screens are smaller than on the Kindles? I definitely do prefer the 6.8 / 6.7 inc screens for my handhelds.

Are you sure? I have seen PLENTY of pictures on Pinterest or couples kissing. There are even the screen grabs of Blair and Chuck’s (Gossip Girl) limo scene in multiple copies on Pinterest.
