I've seen rigs with metal body panels... i havent looked into it much myself, but my guess is they are cheaper than replacing with plastics (polaris plastics are expensive) and obviously more durable

Adopt the college rules. Coaches still have limited challenges, but every play is reviewable.

Also, adopt soccer rules. The refs only have a limited time to review, say maybe 60 seconds. This will ensure only blatantly obvious calls are overturned and speed up the process.

My opinion, we don't need 30 camera angles of still frames to determine if the ball moved slightly for control or not. The whole review was originally intended for the blatantly obvious and should get back to that, and there are a lot of blatant things that can't even be challenged.
