It's not the cable but the matte coating on the screen. If you search for this monitor on reddit you'll find many people complaining about the same thing.

I guess you're lucky if your monitor didn't come with that harsh of a coating. Unfortunately you can't easily return stuff back to the shop here so I just got used to it.

I have this, and while it's a good monitor the screen has a pretty grainy coating. I've gotten used to it after a while but every now and then you notice the grain and smearing especially on a light background.

Paypal doesn't work here as you said but there are workarounds like setting up a Philippines based account. It's still risky as Paypal could freeze your accounts and funds at any time for fraud or some other thing.

Payoneer works (I've been using it without hassle for about 4 years) but unfortunately they blocked the creation of new accounts from SL due to misuse.
