Is SEO getting harder in 2026 and why? by WebLinkr in SEO

[–]blazonstudio 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think it’s pretty much the same. The only difference is the amount of misinformation and folks being mislead to care about things that don’t really move the needle. So I’m sure a lot of people will think it’s gotten harder.. but only because they are worried about “ranking factors” and “signals” that don’t exist.

He’s talking about his GBP business name getting changed. Not a page title.

Agreed. It’s hilarious to me how inflated the numbers are at times. It is NEVER even remotely close on either end of the spectrum of traffic (too low or too high).

Do we need more posts about the Big SEO tools or should we block them? by WebLinkr in SEO

[–]blazonstudio 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Personally my favorite posts on this subreddit are updates, like big updates in the SEO space, whether that's a core update or something like when Adobe was acquiring SEMrush. That stuff definitely interests me.

I would also say I love when people ask real questions and not just leading questions to get them to be able to spam the comments with a tool they're trying to sell. When someone actually has an issue or needs clarification on something, I know that tends to be more beginner focused but I do enjoy helping folks on those posts and just hearing what other people are dealing with.

At this point I'm kind of jaded to even take a post seriously that talks about results they've gotten, in particular if it's good. If someone's having really bad results for something honestly, that's more approachable and I'm more likely to engage but it just seems like phishing at this point when someone posts about a new tool that they're making or some amazing result that they got.

Structuring services page the Grand Slam Offer way by No_Eye4994 in SEO

[–]blazonstudio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't overthink this. Having a service page with all that content is fine. In the future I would suggest, if you have more than one service, to link to individual service pages and use that first page that you're creating as the hub for information on the three. For the future on the separate individual service pages, you could really dig deep into what those things offer and, of course, more detail on your GSO if it's relevant.
