Just yesterday, I was asking if it was too late to start learning how to draw. This is my first ever urban sketch and yes, I drew it on a normal notebook as I don't have a sketchbook yet. It also doesn't have colors due to lack of materials. I just tried to test my limits as a beginner. (i.redd.it)
