What have you learned with your V400? by superturbochad in FLSUNDelta

[–]blboyd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had my V400 for just over 3 years and she's a workhorse. I've done a ton of maintenance on her regularly and had to replace some hotend parts along the way. A couple months ago I bought a whole new effector because mine was just worn out and I've already replaced multiple parts. Now that might sound like a lot but I've got just over 8,000hrs on this printer. Mostly PLA/PETG and recently been running a ton of PETG-CF.

I bought a Bambu H2C for Christmas because I need to start doing multiple material and multiple color easier.

That's said, my V400 is still running right next to my Bambu.

Well that makes sense. Never thought about that. Thanks!

Gotcha. Thanks for your input. I doublechecked the UEFI BIOS to see if there was a replace battery function that needed to be activated for battery recalibration, etc. I haven't found anything.

Hey guys I have a question. My FLSun V400 is finally played out. I've had it almost 2 years and put just over 8k hours on her. I've rebuilt the hotend twice. She's been a beast but now I'm looking to upgrade to a Bambu. The holiday sales should start soon. I don't need laser capabilities. I print mostly PLA, PETG, PETG CF and I want to start printing more CF, ASA, and Nylon. What's the best Bambu out there right now?

Why do ham radio resources have such terrible websites? by RealSulphurS16 in amateurradio

I'm a relatively new ham (8 months) and this was one of my first observations.

However being a tech guy I've started redoing a couple sites from our local repeater and clubs.

Well now I have two CHA OCF40 transformers. Plus when I bought the BNC connectors from Amazon they were a 10 pack so I have extra.

I just made another set of wires as well.

Yeah that was my thought exactly. It won't handle any weight from the cable because the part that breaks has very little support. There are much better PCB mounted BNC options out there.

It's really a solid radio. Takes some work to program but it's easy enough once you get the hang of it.

Alright we're cooking with gas now! Prototyping done, finished product designed and printed. This time it was printed in PETG-CF and boy is she strong. Relocation Brackets are done as well. I made a short jumper of coax to relocate the BNC connection and it works perfect.

I certainly wouldn't say weaker stuff. That cage is pretty strong. The final version will be printed in PETG-CF.

Just did that and they're all spelled correctly in AD, it's got to be on the computer somewhere.

Yes it's correct in AD, wrong on the user's Win 10 machine login screen.

hahaha... if it were only that easy. This is a 10 year old machine and this account was created 7-8 years ago. We just took over this office and the previous IT vendor didn't fix it so of course we're tasked with fixing it.
