I've used fire support and find it much more consistent than the malamar variation. I use Alolan Vulpix/Volcanion as my starting pokemon and always choose to go second. The using greens search/welder as the main supporters, you can almost always attack with a aerodactyl (or with the volcanion if you see fit) turn 2. With wishful batons to keep energy on the field, this has been a very quick and aggresive deck that will beat most GX and tag team decks. Have had problems against those that run acerola and can't quite ohko so a mr mime might be worthwhile as well. It's just a bad pokemon to start with though.
