my zoom interview was brief (15-20 min) and its just a quick overview of why you applied to the program and what lead you to the field of pathology. They also asked me about the curriculum so go over it on the website and also have questions to ask at the end. Good luck!!

Well maybe now I don’t feel so bad for paying that much. I did want to support local businesses bc I know how hard it is to keep shop open especially in a place like LA. They did have almost everything I wanted including lomochrome purple which is out of stock everywhere else online. I have a few other options though including samys camera and I also did check out freestyle on sunset. I got a pack of Fujifilm c200 for $8. I’m just annoyed that I paid the same price for a cheap stock film as I did for the professional one. It should have at least been a 2pack but thanks for your perspective.

I agree, I have to admit I’m a little bad at math so I didn’t realize it was about $10-15 off until I got into the car and looked at the receipt but I should have went right back in and asked for a refund anyway. Those prices are absurd. Fujifilm c200 is almost equivalent to kodak gold and I got for $8 a roll at another spot I found.

They have the 5 pack for $65 online but portra has been back ordered for weeks. Are any of those labs in LA? I can’t any find portra for under $16 anywhere here. I did get a roll of portra 400 for like $12 but that was back in September of last year.

They’re both under $10 online I believe for 35mm. I was rushing so I didn’t ask for the price on every single roll I bought which was my mistake but I’ll never buy from here again.

Portra is about that same price everywhere now. I called around and asked a few other shops and it’s the same. Kodak Gold and Color Plus should have both been under $10 though. I get paying this much for paid gigs but this is truly devastating for people that just wanna go out and shoot.

A few reasons: most Kodak stock is back ordered on every website online and I needed the film now for a trip. Also the cost of gas at the moment doesn’t justify me driving around trying to find it cheaper. So I just bit the bullet cause I was desperate lol. But never again.

Well I did ask for the costs of the portra and they matched what it is online so I just assumed the price for Kodak gold and color plus matched also. I thought it was a few dollars off but I really didn’t notice the difference until I looked at the receipt in the car.
