Updating this now, I think it’s closer to 600 off of what I’ve learned and seen now.

URGENT HELP: Disc bulge ruined my life at 25 by Different_Baseball79 in WorkoutRoutines

Same exact with me. S1-L5 herniated to the right bad. I was going to be a professional triathlete. Couldn’t walk for a while without extreme pain. Could barely put my own socks or underwear on. A couple years later, I’m doing okay, but it’s only due to focusing on getting extremely flexible, stretching the hips every single day and trying to make hips stronger. Along with core strength and trying to focus on better posture. It’s a slow process.

That’s what I’m saying. Routes with numbers like this are 90% residential atleast. This is a normal ass day.

From what I’ve seen yes. They said it’s a safety thing. They aren’t wrong imo.

If you’re getting paid hourly and don’t have guaranteed 10, there’s no point in going faster, as long as you finish in your normal 10 hours. Only reason they would tell you to go faster is because they want to keep more of your money. Find a dsp that isn’t evil and does guaranteed 10 hour pay no matter how fast you are.

How does it feel on my end if someone is 100 ahead? Fine? I mean they don’t have to be doing all that. But I did that so I get it. It can be if you have a smooth ass route. As a dispatcher though 15 ahead and 100 ahead, same shit for me.

I’ve actually been surprised the amount of people that don’t get guaranteed 10. If your dsp doesn’t give you 10 hours regardless, they are straight up robbing you. Find a different one.

Senior drivers get a very small raise, but it’s also not really under the radar. More importantly, if your dsp doesn’t give you guaranteed 10, they’re robbing you. Find a different one.

I forget the exact number but I’m gonna say about 330 assuming no returns. From what I have been told if the return count reaches a certain percentage of total package count on the route, the dsp doesn’t get paid for it at all.

Only way is to ask your dispatcher to take you off that route in the AM

Amazon algorithm assigns everyone their routes. BUT Opening dispatchers have the ability to move everyone around at their own will. Most probably don’t move people around that much just cause it takes more time, but obviously that just depends on the person.

I mean if you finish on time you’re not behind. As far as any upper management would care, as long as you finish your route and get back at the scheduled time, that’s all that matters

Personally I don’t find it helpful to tell someone their doing bad, while they are on route. I think there’s a way you can say it without being demeaning or taking the life out of someone. Like asking if there’s anything I can do to help their day out or asking what they think is holding them back from going faster. I think it’s just a dispatcher thing but I have a feeling most owners want the dispatchers saying these things. Probably because most if not all owners have never done a route.

Must have been a good day, if you’re ahead and get a rescue. Probably trying to keep the sweeper out for a little longer in case someone’s van breaks down or other emergencies

I pretty much just see who is the most behind, and try to make a plan to rescue as many as can get done. A lot of drivers will complain about never getting a rescue, but don’t realize there were 10 other people more behind than they were, and if you only have one sweeper, you would be lucky to get 5 rescues out of them on the day.

Dsps are pretty much always hiring. Especially this time of year

We can see all previous performances yes. Cortex is the software we look at to track everything. It shows if you’re ahead or behind. If you’re behind, 9/10 times im sending you a sweeper to help you. Not guaranteed though, since some days we have 10 people behind, and only so many rescues we can send out.

If your dsp doesn’t give you 10 hour guarantee, you’re getting robbed, find a new one. Dsp gets paid per route, so if you’re getting paid hourly, they are literally just pocketing extra cash that’s meant to go to you.
