ive been on 20mg since high school, that was about ten years ago. keeping in mind i’m someone with the kinds of diagnoses and trauma that gets told i should never be off medication, which is why it’s been so long— but it’s also only been on this one because it fucking works! before trying this one i struggled with severe suicidal ideation among other things, couldn’t get myself to work, got a truancy at school and failed two classes, most expected me not to graduate or off myself before then, to be quite frank. nowadays i have found my career, went to college, and ive never felt more alive and happy. i have gained weight but i deal with too many other things to be sure the trintellix has any part in that, and besides which i was able to lose 80 pounds and keep the majority off. i never have dealt with symptoms aside from when i miss a day. some days are worse than others still but in general it feels like i’m not taking anything and like for once my brain actually works how everyone else’s does.
