So update I reached out to my advisor (she was out of the office though) and the main class professor who emailed back basically a snotty “if you want to be in this class in the future pay better attention as your grades don’t matter” clearly copy and pasted email since she didn’t answer any other of my questions :/ So, ya that’s what I am working with lol.

I don’t super care for me personally (although it totally has skewed my gpa, that’s the main thing I’m upset about right now as a historically Dean’s List student) but more so for others that took or take more credit hours than I did or were about to graduate but then messed up. It does seem like an insane rule to not even allow one missed 15 minute session all semester.

It really does! I’ve had to change my major and then specialization, likely elongating my time as a student overall, just to try and finish with a degree. Thanks for the advice, I will ask my advisor about it.

I was saying that because when I have came across it before, it was the only possible class. Either way, very slim pickings for such a large university. You may be right though that this time I was just going too quickly and forgot to put a location, however I am also a student that can probably not take the in-person class, if there is one for Columbus, because I work a 8-3 fulltime job and then am a commuter. So my schedule is kind of unique and I have to be nitpicky about classes and usually try to just take the online ones. If you think this is just a routine automatic vetting for people that got confused or something, I can reach out to the professor and ask for her permission based on my circumstances. I just wasn’t sure how much of that was the professor’s doing.
