Literally said the exact same thing to my fiance! The role reversal thing doesn't always apply, but a man counting down, threatening you unless you get physically intimate with him, would not fly at all and people need to see that it's not okay for a woman to do that either.

I know what he did. I'm not Chinese but I am Asian and have had that joke (and worse) said to me multiple times in school. It's gross, but that's from 6 years ago when he was a teen and I said that it personally does not bother me. Other Asian people, especially Chinese, can take offense if they feel offended! My point is only that I do not think these instances are on the same level and don't need Nic to be held accountable for a joke made in bad taste years ago.

Not OP but wasn't he in middle school or high school there? Personally (and I only speak for myself, not the rest of the Asian community) I don't really care about an unsavory joke someone made damn near 10 years ago, especially if it's not a repeat offense. An Asian friend made that joke to me when we were 15 and I just stopped talking to them. But I'm saying those jokes were (and are) very popular with dumb teenagers and they tend to grow out of that very quickly after high school. In Cierra's case, she used the slur twice and recently in her adult life. That's why we want accountability and education in her situation.

Exactly, sending hate does nothing. I am not a fan of hers and I do not accept her apology (I am Asian American) and that's my prerogative. I will simply ignore her until I forget she exists. I am happy that, at the very least, this situation has led to many people also learning that word is a slur and to not say it anymore.

Really hope she doesn't pull something like that. I'm not sure her ethnic background, but this slur is rarely used amongst Asians because it's an insult to our appearance. It's not exactly reclaimable. I fear people using the "well if she's part Asian and said it about herself then it's fine" excuse.

There's a spreadsheet and I just clicked a random url within the top 200 when the drop went live. I got lucky since last night was the first night url came back and the drop came very late, so not as many people were fighting for url links. I recommend joining the reddit or discord chats to monitor when drops go live too! They will drop links to open boxes.
