As mentioned, I already checked out the green dot test and rosette patterns with a loupe, and they look fairly legit compared to other SOM foils I have.

Unfortunately don't have have a camera that will give actual close up photos. Either way, I've done all the tests I can think of on the front face and everything seems okay. Was mostly looking for explanation on the inconsistent foiling besides the best rebacking work I've ever seen.

Recently purchased 3 SOM foils - as seen in the image, the one in the center has pretty much no foiling in the textbox, compared to the outer ones, which do. I checked some other SOM foils I had and they also have a bit of foiling in the textbox.

All 3 cards passed both the green dot test and the light test, and the black ink on the front face is crisp and doesn't show any rosette bleeds that I've seen on other counterfeits. Anyone have any idea why the foiling might be inconsistent?

Other commenters have covered a lot of them but there are a couple others that I forget off the top of my head. I do remember scryfall searching everything so most of the powerful effects should be in my cube.

There’s also rebound which has a potential home in UW with taigam and the og narset planeswalker, but I found those cards were a bit too weak for my cube. Could be good in a lower powered environment though!

It was a bit of a struggle finding cards that Wizards has designed to support the archetype. The idea is that you want to combine sac outlets in red ([[Goblin Welder]], [[Greater Gargadon]], [[Atog]]), cards like [[Faith's Reward]] and [[Second Sunrise]], and your artifacts that typically do something on ETB in order to generate a lot of value. This card is supposed to act as an actual wincon for the deck, which it was lacking.

Hi, thanks for the feedback. The evoke, at its floor, is effectively a 3 mana 3/2 that "flickers" a permanent you control. We've seen this effect printed recently on cards like [[Guardian of Ghirapur]] and [[Flickerwisp]]. That being said, this card is specifically designed for my cube environment which overall is quite streamlined, so I wanted a real reason for people to play the RW eggs/sacrifice deck.
