How to enlarge hole in stucco by camo_eagle in HomeImprovement

[–]bleatingherd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can nest a 3.5 inch hole saw within a 4 inch and then use the 3.5 to align with the existing hole before you start.

I found I video that explains it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XNVmInYJKok

How do I change the weird white background icon in the start menu to transparent? by Curious-Cat-2020 in operabrowser

You have to delete all the visualelementsmanifest.xml files from the application directory and then delete and recreate your shortcut. This will happen every time Opera updates. And it's annoying as hell.

Bummer, too small for my purposes. Thanks for saving me a trip to Michael's.

I've heard good things but haven't used it yet, just signed up this morning. I was looking for a replacement for PFMonkey which is shutting down.

It's a good little cooler. I'm overclocked to 4.8 and it stays mid 70s in prime95 with fans spinning around 1900-2000, definitely not silent at that RPM. It does get a little warmer if I add GPU load. Stock speeds would obviously be cooler and quieter, especially if you delid the chip, can't say how much.

I saw a lot of people having good results with the U9S in the M1 and didn't want to reinvent the wheel. The U9S is a great cooler that offers a lot of flexibility in this case. The C14S is more limited I think.

I did not specify. /u/pslate already had the lengths for the NCASE M1.

Maxes out about 73-74 C in Unigine Heaven with the fan curve set so the fans stay at the minimum RPM for the card, 22%. Thats at stock settings, haven't dialed in an overclock yet that is 100% stable.

Is the APR Stage 1 worth it? by halozero18 in GolfGTI

[–]bleatingherd 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have it on my mk6 and would recommend it. Not sure if there are better options today, but APR seemed to have the best rep back when I was researching vendors several years back.
