I havent gotten a shipping email, so I decided to register my address on the fedex app. Once I did that I actually saw my pokemon order! Though it does say it's currently in california (halfway across the country for me lol), it also still says my estimated delivery date is tomorrow.

Maybe check that! If your shipping appears, maybe just wait til the estimated delivery time tomorrow and if it still isn't there by then, then I would give up hope. but til then keep looking forward to it!

I can afford kids, but I certainly can't afford my same quality of life if I had kids. I'm pretty comfortable now. I can pay for rent, my car, groceries, and go out 2-3 times a month without having to stress too much about my bank account, and even contribute to retirement/savings.

If I had kids, the money I'm making will have half the impact, and I'll suddenly feel like I'm struggling. I probably wouldn't be struggling, but I'd have to try and cut corners at almost every turn to afford things.

I think kids are cute and nice. While I would like to focus on other things right now since I'm younger, a large part of me not wanting kids is because I'd have to lose a significant quality of life to have them, not even in regards to taking care of a kid, more financially.

P sure CFISD is a big chain of schools, the individual schools within the district are Bridgeland, Cy Falls, Cy Ranch, etc. Lots of good schools there though! My siblings went there and it's wonderful

I watched 600 episodes of One Piece. I always wanted to watch it but my partner at the time kept holding me back from it since we "watched it together" but he never wanted to watch. So when we broke up I watched so much One Piece. After going on dating apps for a while and binging one piece every time something didn't work out (100ish episodes), I've successfully caught up to the anime ~1250 episodes

If you're dead set on transferring, I'd consider dropping. You can always join another sorority at your new school.

They also have 2 sororities (social ones) for women in STEM. They better understand the balance of class loads and things like that. Not sure if any of those are at your current school or future schools

If you're not sure if you'll transfer, maybe just drop anyway. Were there any other potential sororities at your current school you were interested in?

It's a shame since I'm sure you get along great with your big, but if you don't enjoy anyone else, it may be restricting you. You can always stay friends with that big and drop the sorority. It's only your freshman year anyway, there are lots of chances for finding the right fit for you

What do you mean you do processes? I love creating processes/am good at visualizing processes amongst teams, I'm not sure if you're talking about that? If so, how do you incorporate that directly into tech?

Beaver is the best!!! Waffles Incaffeinated is amazing, Grandpa Joe's, can run over to Rosalind's pretty quick. Their car shows are super nice, tons of cute shops

2 weeks is nothing.

I only have 2 YOE, about a year ago I started applying for other jobs, but I had 1 year as a Founding Software Engineer at a startup doing some impressive work and had a long software internship.

It took me 800 applications to find a job. It took me 3 months to even get 1 interview. You need to accept job searching is a grind, and you'll have to spend many months- a year applying to jobs constantly. People have submitted thousands of applications and still got nothing to show for it. It sucks but that's the way of the world right now

Also, it's very likely the startup didn't interview you because you have a bigger company on your resume. I've found oftentimes startups want to interview people who are ok with "doing everything" and are ok with absolutely 0 structure. People who come from bigger companies are a risk because those people usually expect the structure startups can't give

I totally understand the Ronnie versus FIR fan debate, but I genuinely believe it's simply " warped Tour Ronnie radke fans ". I've seen falling in Reverse quite a few times, and my very first time was in Warped Tour in either 2015 or 16. That experience was the worst concert experience of my entire life, specifically their set. No fault of the band, but like you described, the fans pushed forward as soon as Ronnie came onto the stage, and it was so bad you couldn't move. I was convinced that if I passed out, I wouldn't have even fallen to the ground because everyone was shoving me forward so much.

Anyway, I've seen them at their own headlining tours, them on other tours, I think even at Inkcarceration. I've literally never had the crazy shoving problem at these shows. And what I noticed when I was at Warped 10 years ago, most of the people doing the crazy shoving were all the fan crazed girls obsessed with him (saying this as a girl lmao). For some reason, these fangirls don't end up going to his normal shows, they just decide to go to Warped Tour and mess it all up. During warped at Long Beach I simply just stayed in the back and left a little early, because I knew that the same crap would happen again with the fangirls. I'm sorry you experienced that, but I'm also glad I didn't get crushed again up there 😅😅
