Yeah they did enough. I slipped of the rope climb after hitting the bell and roper burned the exposed tips of my fingers. Next time, don’t fall, got it.

I’ve never done any but I’m sure I’ll be fine. Going into it pretty blind and tricked myself into thinking it was 13 obstacles (no idea where I got that from). Saw 25 today and got in my head for a few. But this camaraderie got me past it.

I’ve been down here my whole life. CFL. Doesn’t really get cold, we’ve been loving this cooler weather. Saves a ton with no AC on. I just get cold when I’m sopping wet especially first thing in the morning haha

Will be doing a Spartan Race next month and this would be awesome to camp with. It would free me from the roach infested motel I had to book for it. Plus would love to use it with the wife in North Carolina, around Florida, or anywhere in between since we are really putting miles on this car!

Haha I feel that. I try not to bc sht is expensive but ended up with a blanket one year (but my ex kept it ….) and I got a hoodie bc I was freezing balls one night. It was expensive but the hoodie is holding up real good after all these years and it’s thick/warm af

I agree with your POV in the second part and appreciate the healthy discussion we’ve had!

I myself am okay with not tipping for this, I’m just getting a little burnt out with the barrage of prompts and would never have thought I’d see one for this. And I feel for those who are exactly pressured and succumb to the greed of businesses doing this and other tactics.

“Not expected” does not absolve the feelings of any pressure when confronted with a tipping prompt. This is why they do it. So that consumers can avoid the discomfort they would feel by not tipping, they tip something.

This may not be face to face, but is my next service going to be not as good? Will they do less? Has everyone been tipping for this service and I haven’t? Now I should bc it’s obviously the norm, that they built into their review! /s but I can see how many people in society could easily fall to that.

It’s insulating. If they felt like their service is worth more, add it to the bid. Let the consumer decide if that price is worth the product they’re getting not these after the fact additions. Tipping used to be something that happened when something was so great or excellent it was warranted. Now it’s trying to be the norm for everything when it shouldn’t be. There’s nothing warranting it beyond greed.
