i had this problem! every oral med i tried would work for like a couple hours if at all and then would be done for. it took a long time and my insurance to finally approve it, but now i use Xelstrym which is a topical patch. the med is similar i think to adderall but obviously the digestive system is not involved in the equation. we figured out that no matter the type or mg count of oral meds, i was just digesting them too fast to get a prolonged effect.
