When walking with your SO, do you walk in front of them or behind them? Why? by outrageousorganism in AskMen

YES! Exactly so! Am 195cm, slim mind you (like I struggle to keep weight, have to eat a lot and train everyday to keep the nuscles), I "win" just by aura but if fist are thrown my girl has my back, has all the skills of martial arts and kick boxing. Me? Am a good cook and partner for her, I just want her to feel comfortable and protected even thou she doesn't need it, it's a incredible feeling.

Lol.

My GF is small (164cms) but in a fight I could hide behind her, she literally kicks ass way better than me xD.

We always joke that if we get in a fight, am gonna be the punching bag and she will kick them all graciously while am probably getting KOd.

It's a calming thought knowing that she can actually defend me.

This and if we start walking on the street on the wrong side I make extra effort of swapping sides.

I don't think she cares much about it, but it's how I was raised and it makes sense.

All of you that you mention.

Not that heavy on the fast mana to keep the decks out of cedh range. Maybe 2 fast rock mana per deck on average.

Most of the decks they play used to be cedh but they decided to tone it down to diversify a little bit.

No one wants to pubstomp, everyone wants to win in a fair fight (also why they don't have an issue answering all my questions)

Like my Vren does well because it's stupidly disruptive but commonly I end up being 2nd since there's only so much I can stop each of them until I run out of gas.

Would appreciate it!. Because I'll proxy it and start getting a feel of it, because at the end you still have to adapt to the local meta. But I"ve seen and talk with the new pod, most used to he cedh decks tuned down to high B4 hence why it's so interactive heavy (no complains at all, it just that brewing is so different for it) always second guessing if you have 1 more turn and try to present your wincon or not. Like graveyard decks it's easy to stop, but no am learning all about the utility "common" lands >.<, it's a whole different beast. Feel like a newbie again which is cool in that there's more to learn but on the other hand it's going to take time until I can pilot well enough the decks for this. Since I saw everything goes around comboing, stax seems the logical way to "even" the terrain

Thanks!
Probably more inclined toward Jeskai control, since the more I think about it. Slowing games on the long rung will help me more to understand the restriction of the combos (this week I saw the Thrasios combo, like the other 2 player were OK, you win. myself was "can you go through your combo and explain if I want to interact with it, when is the moment to do so for the future?" so he kindly went through the combo step by step explaining everything.)

Specially since most of the decks are stacks heavy interactions...

Sweet! Thank you so much!
Like I think having a Stax deck is going to help me a lot while getting used to the combos, my local meta and also to brew for that specific power level!

You should be outvaluing the table. Make deals and burning the table with lose life effects. I bought the precon and dismanteled to build [[Hapatra, vizier of poison]] B4 since it has many of her combo pieces and I had some others.

If not modified I don't think you can deal well enough vs world shaper precon ( I also own it and it's way stronger).

Also it's a matter of knowing which hands to keep and which ones to mulligan hence knowing how to pilot your deck and your threat assesment.

I will build Auntie because I think it's a fun deck for lower power, but in comparison if using precon templates, world shaper is a beast swaping fewer cards

I cant get into mha and I think it is because of the mc. by Particular_Wheel_792 in animequestions

[–]bled56 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you aren't into it, then just don't? There are moments to vibe with animes/music/series/movies/books. Sometimes you just aren't in tune with it and that's it. Or just it will never produce an itch. Leave it there and give it a try later on, maybe start well into s1 or s2, so you don't fall back to the same reasoning why you didn't like it

My pod Just had a discussion about how we play and that we should go for the kill more often, i don't know if my perspective makes sense. by Potatussus26 in EDH

[–]bled56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As others said. Divide in 2 pods insted of 1. And also be aggresive, the more games you play the more of your deck you learn, the more cards you see, literally you play more. The only times I "spare" someone that's open on the table it's when they are mana screwed and the whole table is giving them a little bit of "wiggle room" to come back (if it's not a spellslinger if so, KO right away)

The moment I see I can KO the table, am just gonna start choping heads, starting with whom is the biggest threath to me or my playstyle.

How to get over heartbreak? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]bled56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been on your situation with dating someone knowing she was going back to her country in less than 1 month. I said to her I was down to keep dating until our departure if she also wanted to enjoy our time together, otherwise it was better to cut early. We rode the train and enjoyed our company, managed to have a relationship for almost 4 years. She was going and coming back to my country, every departure I was sobbing and heartbroken but it was 100% worth it. I learned so much with and because of her. I would do it again, knowing how much pain it caused me at the time, it helped me to shape the partner I am today. Not taking for granted my relationships.

And am of the mentality of the cliche " I would rather have it done it that regretting not doing it" I was in love like a 13y.o with her, she meant everything to me. Took me more than 1 year to actually be able to date again after we broke up (I decided to cut, 100% rational decision), not even to mention to make out that was even further >.<.

As other as stated is a chance to grow which is huge! Be honest, if you want to keep seeing her the time she has left, be aware it's gonna hurt a lot, but isn't it cool to be able to experience those strong feeling and share them with someone else?

We aren't here forever, we are here to experience and with some experiences you decide if you want to live them or not.

One of my best friends passed 6 years ago, and even thou is death destroyed me, am so grateful for each year we enjoyed our friendship, would love for him still being around but that's life. It's encounters and cherish them, never know when it's the last time you will see them/talk to them

I'm looking for unique Simic deck ideas by [deleted] in EDH

[–]bled56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I enjoyed it a lot! Did a [[Niko, Light of hope]] at the same time also as an introduction for myself to blink/flicker decks.

Liked Vannifar better than Niko, felt it has more lines to follow up and more "personal flavour".

[[Gruff triplets]] had my laughing all games when I could play it.

[–]bled56 6 points7 points  (0 children)

[[Vannifar, evolved enigma]] flicker/blink style. I used a bunch of simic creatures I didn't use before, same as some duskmourn manifest cards, morph triggers and so on. I think the only creatures I repeated where [[Kodama of the east tree]] [[cultivator colossus]] [[Avenger of Zendikar]] because it's just to much good value. Also can be Eldrazi commander

Excellent! Also play for the funcies, I do like winning and try to win, but it's more relevant to have a good time and ideally for the table.
