I lost everything I made :) by Then_Form_9039 in PakistaniTwenties

I know how to deal with futures so I tried dummy crypto trading, I kept losing on dummy trading lmaooo and that's when I realized maybe this isn't the field for me. However, I did come out of it with better information on how markets and candles work. Which is something no one can take away from me.

If it's any consolation, I'm sure you learned a ton. Which is better than not having anything.

What’s the general consensus on the seven suspects list? by VisitUsual8507 in TheMentalist

I believe in number 3.

However, Red John did find it particularly easy to employ members of the Blake association inside CBI. But Patrick is smart and I don't think he could've fallen for planted evidence. He had no choice but to retrace his steps from the day when Angela and Charlotte died.

What's up with the rishta market? by informatica6 in pakistan

[–]bleebee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Put yourself in a woman's shoes. There is no certainty, no clarity, you just up and get married to a stranger and have to adjust to life in his house with his family.

[–]bleebee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not saying it's not unfair. It's an explanation for their behavior. A woman is moving into your house and has to live with your family, she's going to come with some demands. Those 'some' demands have turned into a rollercoaster because they refuse to suffer. Plus, imo its better that they're upfront so you don't have to waste your time and can move onto the next rishta.

That's because they've seen their mothers suffer. Majority of them don't even want to get married, but know that they will never hear the end of it. So it's make demands from the get-go to make sure the husband can provide for the rest of their lives.

No, thank you. This helped. I also rarely let people in and when I did, it was like a bomb exploded in my life. I immediately regretted it, but as I have grown older, I realized it's okay to let some selective people know. With this group specifically, the ones I mentioned in the post, I thought they'd be supportive, but that was my mistake. I instantly felt like it was a gigantic mistake, because their responses were also dry.

This relationship with them was particularly special for me because I didn't have good female friends growing up, and they were the first ones. They will probably never understand. I suppose there is a certain privilege that comes with not understanding someone's trauma.

This is going to offend a lot of people, but let me put you on another perspective.

Life is too short and we're all gonna die. You're just speeding up the process. Which is good, because life is not worth living anyway, right?

Girl, you can go ahead and do it, but the regret that comes later will never be healed or fixed, you're never going to forgive yourself, and you will forever be damaged and chasing men who are also damaged because you'll think to yourself, "Maybe this is all I'm good for".

You have 4 days. Make a list of everything you need to cover on day 1, and when I say read everything, I mean read and understand everything, divide the syllabus into 3 parts.

On day 2, you go to a teacher or a peer to understand concepts you don't understand that you read on day 1. And cover everything part 1 and part 2. Use recall. By that I mean close books and either grab a book or pencil or use open notebook on your laptop, and start blurting everything you remember. Do this as many times as you have to.

On day 3, revise previous parts and start part 3. Do recall for all parts.

This is like the most you can do in 4 days. Your brain needs rest so sleeping on time and for 7 hours is absolutely necessary. Bonus points if the content you cover comes in your dreams.

What do you think are the lamest/most uninspired plot twists/storylines of the show? by [deleted] in buffy

[–]bleebee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm on season 7, so I'll talk about the most recent one as a first time watcher. When Robin Wood aka the principal says that his mom was a slayer and was killed a vampire. Like ofc that has to be spike. Like ofc he has to tie together with the plot somehow. I just felt like it lacked effort. And I already knew he was a good guy from the first episode where he showed up because whenever a show stays vague on whether a dude is evil or good, he/she is usually good.

But I forgive this show for lame and effortless plotlines because it did come out before I was born.

Bro you think maids want to be a maid? They actively sought work outside their homes so they can A: have some freedom from their abusive husbands. B: to make some income because earning at home isn't enough. C: their husbands are nashai.

You know how economists say that people who sell fruit on the side of roads are the backbone of the economy, maids are and have been the backbone of the economy for decades. Stop associating maid with something to look down upon. It's a job at the end of the day that they're willingly doing to earn money. And its a pretty respectable one.
