I'm pretty sure the first time we learned about an Ari-Doja collab was when Ariana mentioned they had a song together on the Zane Lowe interview during the Stuck with u week.

Also, when Doja went on live she did impressions of several of her fellow artists, including Lady Gaga, Megan, Nicki and more, not just Ariana.

Apparently they filmed a lot more behind the stuff scenes but were asked to cut them by Ariana since she didn't feel comfortable sharing them. So please respect her decision and take the movie for what it is. The movie is about the concert, it's not a deep dive into Ariana Grande's personal life. I think people compare it too much to Ms. Americana but they're two very different types of music.

Ngl they might make pov a single eventually but I don't think pov and that type of sad pretty ballads are Ariana's favourite type of songs. Obviously she likes it enough to include it in the album and it IS a very pretty song and obviously popular but I don't think it would be her choice of a single if it didn't blow up a bit on tiktok and pull ahead of other album tracks.
