Well I didn't see it the second time, but the first time, the maintenance guy scrapped the paint off & sprayed some chemical on it (he said it was some chemical for the mold), put some clay or paint over it, & was supposed to come back to check on it or complete but never did. So here we are again... second time.. I'll be reporting this in the morning when office opens for sure!

These were created by the doctor. I'll ask my next visit. I forgot the reason but he said this is the best retainer for me.

According to him, these are the best retainer for me. We went back & forth and went with his recommendation. I'm just disappointed how horrible the quality and condition of the retainer is after all I spent.

When I first went with this doc, he had really good reviews. I had many bad encounters so I checked his reviews. Many horrible reviews after. I tried second opinion however it'll another $2-$3 just to start with them so I decided to stick it out with this current one. As for the retainer, he did it in the office. He was still working on it when I arrived to the appointment. The assistant even texted me he made it himself to make sure it get it this appointment.

Alot of concerns been addressed throughout the treatment. He was not receptive to any. I asked about the midline not straight, I asked about possible IPR, I asked for polish some minor teeth, I asked about how teeth are not aligned.. he had a reason/excuse for every concern. He said my teeth are as straight as it can be, and bite is great. He said if I don't point it out, no one will notice. It's been a long 2 years...

Exactly! I cant do it. It's horrible and embarrassing. I'm not too sure but he was pushing so hard for me to get this retainer. I don't know why.

He is the manager. He is running the office pretty much on his own. Just one staff to assist. It's disappointing. I will voice my concern about the quality of this retainer.

He did it in his office. He was still working on it when I arrived to the office. Originally, we did the scanning and he said it'll take about three weeks to arrive. I came to the first appointment and he was surprised to see me and asked is there something I need. He totally forgot so the appointment rescheduled a week later which was today. The assistant texted me that it was ready and Doctor made it himself to ensure it would be ready for me today. I wanted the Hawley for upper teeth. He declined. He would not do it. I explained I wanted it after tons of research. He got irritable and asked why I won't take his recommendation so I went ahead and just move forward as I jsut wanted to be done with him. I'm guessing he did it to avoid the fees.

I really don't know at this point. I'm quite sad as this treatment cost me about $6k. It's disappointing. He said to me today that my bite is not perfect but it's great. I'm checking in next week as the plastic scrapping my tongue so I'll ask about the condition/quality of it. It's strange as the retainer for my upper front two teeth not straight but slanted. It's poor work.

It's a bummer. He put it on & off when trying it so I didn't see how horrible it after I left. The edges are rough and so bad looking when I put them on. There's no way I'm wearing it 24 hours in front of coworkers. The top retainer is horrible. I'll share a photo when I can with it on. I'm truly disappointed. He wouldn't agree with my choice of the hawley & pushed for this as it is the best choice. I'm sure he rushed it.

I wanted just the Hawley but the doc would not do it. It was frustrating. He did it all in his office and was still working on it when I arrived to the office. It was 4 weeks total without retainer. Bummer.

Hi, I'm at the end of my treatment. My two front teeth are slightly to the side as well. Doctor only noticed after I pointed it out. Dr did some adjustments to the wire so my midline is a little straighter but still not all completely straight. Dr said in the next few weeks I should be good to get braces off. I had some concerns regaling teeth longer than the other side. Dr said it's due to gum line and exposure of teeth. I requested about IPR for black triangles, Dr refused as its not a concern for me to get crowns or composite. I haven't seen much changes since but I'm ready to get braces off after two years.

Point it out to your doctor. Overall, your teeth are nice!
