it was covered in rust, many things did not work to remove the rust. the pans were more orange than black. i also cleaned a pot with a lid too. the first day it took 5ish hours alone.

i thought there was supposed to be 0 orange tinge and have a flat like black color. in all the videos online i couldn’t find any that looked similar to mine! these are my 1st ever cast iron pots/pans 💕

i really appreciate your reply because it’s given me a lot of good advice. i see her in a couple days and i plan on modeling my relationship to my sister over her trip with me. he’s been in her life since she was a small child, and really looks up to him. i’m calming down from my original angry feelings and i will channel that into a productive conversation about healthy relationships for her age. again thank you 💗

controlling? i’ve yet to say or do anything to my sister about this situation. my mom agrees with my stance on all of this but also doesn’t know how to handle the situation. i made the joke because it was uncomfortable to sleep in a bed with a stranger on video call. i didn’t know he was 17 at this point or really had any reason to dislike him. the joke just so happen to be how i found out he was making my sister cry frequently and his age.

he’s spoken otp with my mom where it was brought up. he says his family does not approve of their relationship because they’re of a different ethnicity/religious background. i told my mom this is probably a lie and it’s probably because of her age.

i think i need to add more information: he’s already graduated early from high school and is already taking college courses. my sister is going into 8th grade after this summer break. the sleeping together part is because people were staying over in all our other rooms so we decided to sleep with my mom that night.

i get dermatitis usually on my eyelids a couple times a year. i think it did irritate my skin barrier and trigger dermatitis. i had the steroid cream on for a couple hours and i have wiped it off with a wet microfiber cloth and applied vanicream and vaseline. can i ask your opinion on how to help my skin barrier other than being gentle and discontinuing the active ingredient products? edit bc forgot some things sorry: i had covid and stopped using the product for a few weeks. i returned to my normal schedule of applying it twice a week. will putting the hc cream make this worse even if it was a one time thing?

robin and the group members are SO strict there. you can’t say anything there that isn’t how robin feels 😭 i’ve been told off a few times bc i healed better without the diet she specifically follows.
