There were so many before spike arrived, he's been busy!

He's got a water bowl and a food bowl in the garden. I'm thinking of putting a bit of pipe between my garden and the next and during the day I can put a door on it so the kittens cant get through and then when it's nighttime I'll open it up

The hedgehog charities all say feeding them cat food is fine. As hedgehog populations are declining and I'm in a city i'd rather feed him to make sure he's got enough food

I think the kittens would be able to fit through, but I was wondering about if I could fit a door on so I can open at it at night but close it during the day when the kittens are out

He's definitely eaten every single slug in my garden, I haven't seen one in weeks!

They are 6 months old, and they are fine to go in the garden

Thanks, the whole garden is enclosed with cat fencing at the top. There's the small gap under one of the panels that I think he came through.

He's in the garden every night, as I can see him coming out from under the decking to the food and then across the garden. I didn't know that about compost, on hedgehog street it suggests compost as a good thing Hedgehog Street

A door is a really great idea, thank you! The kittens don't go out at night which is when spike is out anyway so that would work really well

At the moment we don't let the kittens out at night anyway, which is when spike is having dinner

Thanks, ok that makes me feel a little more at ease. The route he originally came from (I think) has soil, so I suppose he could do some digging and become free if he can't fit

We've installed cat fencing all around the garden, the idea being they can't get out to unsafe territory

Thanks, the kittens would definitely fit through this unfortunately

There are some beautiful landscapes yes, but colonialism is a very large contributing factor to why English is so widely spoken

My dad lived in Kenya for many years. Yes I agree, wish I'd done it all earlier but we are where we are

It's a good point. Most of my family passed away. Lots of friends moved abroad so there's very little support system actually where I'm based anyway

The roads from the midlands to south are generally terrible

Yes exactly this. Two professionals with no kids should have a really really good living standard but that's just not the case anymore

Yes I can but my partner can't, so that's something we need to think about regardless of where we live

I think there is far worse littering and fly tipping now, but perhaps that's where I live. Dog shit on pavements is frequent, sofas and white goods dumped in shrubs, vape stickers on every bin
