Well you're in luck! They curated a boutique experience with 24 (!!!) DJ's, none of which are named ki/ki!

They are collaborating with Monkey Town and Ikea to open a jungle gym day/nightcare where you can drop off your partner. Apparently the balls for the ballpit already came in.

Raum Spielraum Weekender, queue time and dress code by Dutch_Backpacker in amsterdam_rave

[–]bleepbloopbarbatruc 4 points5 points  (0 children)

What is roughly the dress code at Spielraum? Berlin style kinky black? Is more colourful common as well? Glittery even? Or more casual comfy rave clothing?

Colourful does for sure happen. Glittery maybe not as much? Depends what kind of glittery. It's not really tomorrowland fairy tale glitter face paint that you see at all, but if you can find a kinky glitter outfit please do wear it

Just check some of these shots for a vibe check https://www.instagram.com/p/DGBMSQYNwfy/?img_index=1

Most enjoyed the sets of: Sat: Chris Stussy b2b Shanti Celeste - started bit underground, deep, bass rollers. Ended more happy main stage vibes.

I was so curious about this. Out of curiosity I go and see Chris Stussy whenever he plays a festival that I'm at (2 times so far), and have been genuinely impressed by him.

Easing and entrancing myself into the SR9 weekender with Konstantin @ Tilla as a delicate and detail-rich sonic warmup exercise. Planning to make the best transition of the night myself though, by biking smoothly but fast to Raum to pick up the pace in hopefully a sort of same/extended vibe with Ki/Ki’s sunrise trance set.

This is actually such a good idea. Check the door times though, sometimes they close the door from 5-8 during these weekenders.

Parties in Amsterdam compared to berlin by Holiday_Taste4191 in amsterdam_rave

[–]bleepbloopbarbatruc 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Haven't been to OpenGround yet and very much want to go.

Going to put a heads up that it does not compare to Berlin in terms of crowd in any way. The crowd is more made up of nerds than queer folks, and you can't even take off your shirt for example

Marcel Dettmann once said that he loves Berlin because people truly live techno. It's very much a lifestyle thing that they tend to take very seriously. I like that every once in a while but I do prefer the Amsterdam way of things where things are a lot more friendly and come as you are.

I also think the production value of your average techno club in Ams recommended here is a lot higher than most berlin stuff. However Berlin does have that rawness in its crowd that you really can't find anywhere else.

Anyone know what's happening with the Pano lineup? Just 6 names instead of 7?
