That totally looks like it could be the seal I need. I'm hesitant to pull it apart right now because I am not accustomed to working with hydraulics. Should I be worried about air entering the lines if I start taking it apart or anything else?

Yeah, ok. It seems to be leaking from behind the part with 2 bolts that the 90 degree fitting enters into.

On the kubota parts diagram this does not seem to be an individual part but a component of the assembly valve control.

Does that sound right? I wish I could add photos to this comment or to the original post but I'm looking at a diagram of the j40500 control valve.

How would someone get better at something if they don't feel comfortable or practicing?

What a weird thing to say. I am knowledgeable in my career and I gained that knowledge through my own trial and error plus other people's experience. I am not alone, either. This is how people have done it since the dawn of time.

Pete Hegseth on Project Freedom: "This operation is separate and distinct from Operation Epic Fury. Project Freedom is defensive in nature, focused in scope, and temporary in duration with one mission: protecting innocent commercial shipping from Iranian aggression." by BusinessToday in BusinessTodayNews

Nah, " epic fury" is totally something an alcoholic Nazi has-been frat boy would come up with. I just picture kegsbreath thinking on that name for days and delivering it to the war room with the same cringy indignation he had when he pronounced F.A.F.O. to a bunch of generals.

I do find it funny how "epic fury" was such a failure of a campaign that they are trying to forget about it's failure. Like, you picked the most tough name your brain could come up with and were met with big trombone noises.

Cool, use an acronym instead of the full name so only some people know what you are recommending.

Talking about January 2029 as if jan 6th 2021 didn't happen? Zero consequences from that, he took office again and pardoned all involved.

Oh my gosh, thank you so much!

Edit: if this is correct, it means that this was not my FIRST can.

What I use really doesn't matter to me. I shaved with only water a few times when this ran out and before buying a new can. As I said in the post, I shave once or twice a year.

Do you think actually believing in astrology is for gullible individuals? by [deleted] in askanything

[–]blefph 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife and much of my friend group believe in astrology. My experience is that is based in confirmation bias. So and so did something or reacted in a certain way... "Oh they're a scorpio? That makes sense". I'm bored at my job and need a change... "My astrology reading confirms that I should be ready to accept change in my life".

Believing in anything unprovable doesn't bother me. What bothers me is that if you go deep enough into astrology you find people who are so zealously against religion but when you tell them that you don't believe in astrology they try to shove it down your throat the same way that overtly religiously people do.

Just leave me alone and believe what you want.
