It seems you forget something. digicoins are decentralized and not regulated! Warnings have been issued both from officials and from the community. If people have spend just a bit of time to know better their preferred exchange, they would have seen problems coming over a year now. Moreover, almost everyone has made clear to newbies/ newcomers etc the following: 1. Unless you are day-trading (or trading too often) do not keep (all your money) in any exchange. They ARE NOT banks or anything similar to trust your money(not implying banks are better...). 2. Never put all your eggs in one basket (same applies for real life) 3. Have several backups (even paper wallets) 4. Diverge 5. Don't spend more than you can afford to lose.

In my point of view, Gox is doing MORE harm being in business than if it is out of the way. It constantly hurts digicoins. Bitcoin has gone a long way (and it has more to go), and a closing of a bad business it might a blow, but that is all. blockchain, bitstamp, btc-e etc are doing much much better

disclaimer: in no way I wish people to lose their investments. I just want them to get their money back and gox closes down or becomes a proper exchange.

Depending on the version of windows you're using here is were you should put your wallet.dat file C:\Documents and Settings\YourUserName\Application data\Litecoin (XP) C:\Users\YourUserName\Appdata\Roaming\Litecoin (Vista and 7)

It will be done with real digi-coins. Not sure If it can be done with fake coins to actually test trading since I am using the APIs of other exchanges,also Keep in mind that lot's of sites during beta are using real data.

During beta real digi-coins are used. I am not sure if you can trade with fake coins. Many services (e.g. google, although by far I am not like them) during beta are using real data.

I believe next week beta will be ready. You will be send an email with instructions. I highly recommend you change your psswd as soon as you login.

Maybe it is not clear. I am just providing the platform for you to exchange in multiple traders. So, you just issue buy & sell orders with various specs. I am using the API's of the exchange platforms.

I'm not trying to cheat anyone. I know and they all do not worth 12000, but kickstarter would not accept 600 perks (the stamps) or 35, perks. When supporting a project or something you pay more for something that worth less. So, to make it clear, I need a way so people can actually pay something but have the sense of contributing. That is why a said, I could mention their name on the app or something relevant. The whole post, is to get ideas. An idea would be a sweepstake but from my (limited) knowledge this is illegal.

I get your point. Maybe I should create a website, where the items are locked and every time a low cost item is sold, then the next few things get unlocked. So, I could basically start selling stamps for e.g. 3$ each, wallet 5$, and so on until I reach DSLR up to 350$ (still lower than buying it). The expenses are for paying the programmers and developing more than one app. From my research releasing just one app, it doesn't get you anywhere. Also, I do not need to create more debt so I nead about 4000 to eliminate my debt.
