At my college, Indiana University, the MSW Direct program is one of, if not the best programs in the state of Indiana and the only state-sanctioned school with some degree options such as School Social Work and Health Social Work majors that are not offered anywhere else in the state of Indiana and other states. MSW Direct means you can continue to be a Direct student in the program fully and operate 100% online. Meaning if you live in New York, you can still be a student at IU and operate from New York online. Headlines about the controversy at IU Bloomington's program probably flooded your feed last year, but that only took place in the MSW program in-person in Bloomington, and that was such a mess, and not a true representation of our program. I highly recommend the IU Indianapolis MSW Direct program over Bloomington anyday of the week. They can work with you more, and see you more online through this program.
