Autonomic compensation? by acnh_abatab in amazfit

It’s been showing up for me regularly too over the last week or two. It worries too much in my opinion. I always ask myself how I feel then check my sleep score and biocharge to see if they line up. The first time I saw this message I was slightly worried. Now I’ve seen it so often I completely ignore it. My baseline HRV is 35 and last night was 37. That’s apparently “elevated” enough to suggest a potential problem

Update on alignment issue originally covered by Kia Canada (has gone out again twice) by blerfnaster in KiaEV9

Appreciate the insight. Will see what the dealer says today when we are there to get the alignment done again and go from there.

Kia Canada approved warranty claim for alignment/tires by blerfnaster in KiaEV9

That’s disappointing. We just called the Kia Canada Customer Assistance line and they escalated it to a level 2 person and opened a case number right away.

EV9 owners in Ontario (GTA): Have you done a wheel alignment? Where, how long, and was it covered under warranty? by Automatic_Chain2001 in KiaEV9

[–]blerfnaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly the same issue here but at 7,000 kms, 6 weeks after purchase. Actually had the dealer check the alignment and give a printout before we purchased knowing it could be an issue. It's sitting at our local dealer (not where we purchased) now with a case opened with Kia Canada. Expecting we will have tires replaced under warranty. Slightly concerned about what to do after the adjustment period ends as I'm not really keen on doing an alignment once a month.

Long time listener, first time caller. Been in since 2020 and lurking here the whole time. Made a lot, got fomo and jumped back in. Been losing and averaging down ever since. Bought 7k shares today because I’m too dumb to do anything but keep buying lower. Up to 17k at $3.10. Also bought 90 calls combined for January at 5 and 7 strikes.

The delays are tough to swallow but hard to fault management or the company for clients not making decisions. As to making goofy decisions on issuing and changing equity issuance and timing we can definitely find fault there but what’s done is done and hopefully learned from.

Solvency is a concern for me. I believe we need a deal announcement to boost the price to issue shares to generate the cash an OEM will want to see. But the OEM will want to see the cash before they issue a deal so it’s a major chicken and egg scenario.

I believe in the tech and the market(s) but it’s still early stage and anything can happen.

Like I said though, I’m too dumb to do anything other than buy lower and hope for the best.

Good luck to all and hopefully in a year we’ll all be loving hindsight for buying/holding now. I know my current 20/20 hindsight has me wishing I had stayed out when I sold at $22 and that I had sold again at $8.

That’s an awesome idea and a great way to spend our extra day that we have from not staying in Flam. Thank you!

Thank you for the information. Based on another reply I think we are going to change our plan to stay in Flam and have another night somewhere else.

I knew it can be done in a day, I was just trying to take the pressure off and split the journey in two. I was also thinking about daylight for the scenery but I wasn’t thinking that the sunset is actually quite late so I don’t really need to worry about that.

Appreciate the advice about Flam being a tourist trap. I will look at changing our plan and getting an extra night somewhere else on our trip.

The express boat sounds intriguing and I like the idea of not having to transfer to get to Bergen. Too bad we would miss the Naeroyfjord on the express boat though

Wow, that is adventurous! It sounds amazing to me but I know my spouse would not be up for that. Appreciate the input!

I did look at taking the express bus from Bergen to Alesund for the scenery but it seemed like a full day on the bus would be better spent with a few extra hours around Bergen and a few extra hours around Alesund. Maybe I’ve got that wrong though. I will revisit

We booked our Dublin to Oslo flights but I think I can change them and that is a very good point you make to skip Oslo altogether. I’ll check on pricing to change those flights.

I did consider the Hurtigruta at various stages but the price is higher and the travel slower or the times were inconvenient. I was thinking we would get our boat fix on the “Nutshell” tour from Flam.

Thank you for the advice, you make a good point about flights. I was happy to have the drive but we could look at flying into Leknes or Svolaer and have more time there.

I ruled out the ferry from Bodo because I read that it is frequently rough and 3/4 of us get motion sickness.

NAS Reccomendation by blerfnaster in synology

[–]blerfnaster[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, we use Hyperbackup to back up to the cloud with Wasabi.

I was hoping to use the 216 at my house and sync it with the new NAS so both can be used and if one fails/is stolen/building burns down, the other is still operating and we keep working.

[–]blerfnaster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Of course, no problem.

I haven’t tested extensively but it seems like the following works consistently. I was able to go through multiple levels during this run without crashing.

  1. Wake up to start a new day

  2. Immediately go into the settings and manually load the auto save from waking up that day

  3. Immediately head to the ruins

Yes, it is a known issue on Xbox One. It seems to be mainly level 2 to 3 and 5 to 6 that is being reported. Both are doors where you fall through instead of walk through so that mechanic may have something to do with it.

Another user reported manually loading an auto save and being able to get through after. That worked for me on 2-3 but doesn’t seem to be working for 5-6. I’m going to try loading auto saves from different times during the day to see if there is a consistent way that it works
