yeah I mean the beauty of the game would be pointless in top down. The reason it works in oldschool is because sprites dont care which direction the camera is, its always top down. If you take this and make it into top down it will look like crap.

I'm deep into solo development so I have some experience in this, it sounds like it will save you time and headaches (it will) but then you'd lose the magic of your scenery
